Future Oslo will have a growing need for dwellings and this issue can be solved in a number of ways. In my project I looked into the possibility of building taller in some parts of the city centre.

The location is close to the Oslo train station the most important transportation node within the city.

The project also looks into the possibilities of living in taller structures. Opening up areas within the building for both public and shared residential use. 

The construction is based on central core stretching all the way to the top. The floors on each floor is hung up by tension cables giving a much smaller material use and more livable area.
